STORYLINE:

What would you do if you woke up in a cryogenic chamber with nothing but a note from your parents telling you that zombies have overrun the world? An outbreak in the densely populated lower Manhattan and the delayed symptoms of transmission caused the virus to spread quickly throughout the world. Now, the world has become almost completely populated by zombies, and those who are not zombies are either soldiers trying to stop you or citizens hiding underground praying for this nightmare to be just a dream they can’t wake from. The reality is too much to bear for many, and only a few have survived…

In a time of future days past, the world has become overrun by zombies. Scientists at an undisclosed New York medical research facility seeking a cure for epilepsy accidentally unleashed a virus into lower Manhattan. The American government found out and attempted to use this virus as a weapon. They lost control of their new “weapon”, creating what could only be described as zombies. Any scientist who attempted to find a cure was silenced and all research material was either seized or destroyed. Your job is to kill all soldiers and zombies in your way, don’t get bitten, find survivors, find a cure, and most importantly, save the world.

DESCRIPTION:

Apoc Z is a first-person, action survival horror game set in a massive and dangerous open world. It’s not just hack and slash; it’s about survival of the Human Race, and strategy is often “key” to survival. Find food, water, shelter, weapons and supplies. Find survivors and bring them to safe zones. Avoid contaminated areas; discover the truth concerning the “disease”. Apoc Z brings a whole new reality to the  “What if?” zombie apocalypse concept.

Society is dead, rules and laws no longer exist, and soon only the Military and Zombies will be left on planet earth.

Apoc Z  is our ambitious post-apocalyptic zombie-survival game currently under development at Hyde Games for release on PC. Future development will include release to the Web and Android.

DAYTIME:

Scavenge the world for supplies, find survivors and avoid the military presence.

AT NIGHT:

The infected become far more aggressive. They are attracted to sound and some have exceptional sight. Use everything at your disposal to survive till morning.
